Red Box of Death

I am extremely busy with my small architectural project and I did not have time for this. Apparently the "Red Box" of death is making another round through the blogosphere. I want you to know I will continue to follow everyone but ....

Until this situation has corrected its self I have removed the blog roll widget from my blog. It's not like I get a ton of comments anyway but to have my page display as if I have cooties is just down right wrong. I've never had cooties, fleas maybe but never cooties.

I must now return to pulling my hair out, one hair at a time. :)

Blogger Has me Tied Up

I am having major Blogger issues. I can compose text only posts, no photos, no comments. I have awards to answer and pictures to share but I have been hog tied.

I thought it was late night thing, I read several blogs yet could not comment. I came back EARLY this morning and still the problem has not corrected its self.

I am here and have been reading but my comments at the moment are not for sharing. Mary you will just have to wait for my answers. I'm working at correcting this situation but I fear blogger has other ideas.

Be back when things have corrected their self. I hope you understand and will bear with me in this time of technical difficulty. :)

Come See What I Did!

If you are reading this first sentence from a reader, stop cheating! You have to be on the actual blog for the full surprise and YES, it will be different.

Before I went to serious work on my temporary project, I left something hanging. Rather than wait for the entire re-vamp I am unavailing my new look.

New month, new look; why not? So, what do you think? I was sort of sick of pastels and wanted something a bit more true to me. I have more changes to complete however; I will handle that in stages. Hope I did not freak you out. Now…

Four weeks ago I sort of fell off the blog edge to work for money, Thursday that will end. My ability to once again earn money will be over, for now; back to blogging.

For all of you who have stuck with me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have missed you; I have missed reading about all your adventures, reviews, advise, stories, poems and in general, you.

I’ll be making the rounds to drop little smiley faces and comments your way. For now though I just wanted to let you know about the new look. You are in the right place, but if not, click the follow button anyway.

Down for more than a week she longed for her mojo to return. The bed she so loved now felt like an unwelcome stranger, stiff and uninviting. Tired of being in the company of the unwelcome stranger she summoned energy from deep within, “come on get out of bed, don’t you want to find your mojo?”

First sitting, then standing; she rose to leave the company of the stiff, uninviting one. “I’ll get a cup of spice tea and check the web,” she thought. With a head totally clogged, she wondered why someone had not just put the Vicks suave in the Kleenex, that would be so much easier.

Sunday Questionnaire

Do not just read the snippet in the dashboard preview; come on over and look. I have been telling you and myself I needed to change things up here a bit and now I have. See anything different?

Yes, I have been too sick to write but not to sick to code, go figure. Have you noticed the new layout? Notice my new buttons? I’m really proud of these because I’m no coder.

This being Sunday I’d like to give you my sermon for the day, Flu Shots. If you have not gotten yours, now is the time. I cannot take flu shots due to an egg allergy, and thus have the flu.

One of the scariest books I have ever read was “The Coming Plaques,” and the worst plaque of all is the flu. Adapt and survive little bugger, get a FLU SHOT! Otherwise you will end up like me, wrapped like a mummy with a bright red nose, sounding like a foghorn and consuming bourbon by the gallon. (Medicine you know.)

Now my goal is to for later today to do some writing. In the mean time I wanted to put this post up so you guys would not freak out. I need and want feedback. What do you think? Is this better or worse? Is it easier to find things? Please test drive this thing and tell me, lemon or peach?

Cleaning Out My Closet.... Awards

Since I’m still sick and needing something to do I decided to clean out my closet, that is when I found these. Awards just sitting there, waiting patiently to be handed out, why not end the week on a high note?

Before I get to the handing out I do have some real blogging issues to address. Blogger is in a state of metamorphous and I think it is screwing with us all. WOW, 100 and I'm Sick!

Those blasted Aliens! No, that was not a story line I actually do have an awful early cold. You know one of those colds where you wish you were 10 again and Mom could take care of you. Not an option and that is not the worst of it. How much worse can it get?

For starters as tired and sick as I am, a water line broke dead in front of my house. From midnight to 4 in the morning I listened to jack hammers and backhoes tear up the street. If the noise were not bad enough each vehicle had a yellow strobe light attached to the top. Lit my bedroom up like a disco.

Out of Order

This blog is temporarily Out of Order. Toady’s post is because I have just gone totally brain dead and am in need of maintenance. I achieved only 4 hours of sleep night before last, went all day and then proceeded way into the night. Why?

Why have I been up for 20 hours straight, because my body is having trouble adjusting to this seasonal change? I do the same thing come spring. Can’t sleep, not really awake, just sort of stumbling through the hours. My mind it goes a mile a minute and yet, my body screams, “Sleep.” I think I my body clock will be first on the maintenance list.

Last night I managed to get another 4 hours sleep, hoorah! But first thing this morning the gentleman showed up to re-flash my chimney. This actually was on my maintenance list but with no sleep it is pounding in my head.

Actually, that pounding is on my roof and is totally distracting. No way can I think of insightful words with this noise. Besides the noise resembles fingernails on chalkboard. EH!

I’m reading your blogs and commenting as usual but being prolific will have to wait until this work is done. I may even take a nap if my furry friends will let me. Perhaps a “Day Cap” is in order?

Just wanted to let you know why there is this void in my posts, life. Please come back when the real alarm clock has gone off and my mind is working again.

Believe me if I knew then what I know now it would not have been an option. I think you know what I mean, long, starts with “T” and does not match my blog address. Oh well, broke all those rules. How and why then did I come up with that title?

Windows Will Now Adjust

Power up, enter password, go to browser and then you get “your virtual memory is insufficient,” windows will now adjust. I certainly hope so, this is just how my morning has gone. I’m not talking a PC or laptop either, but my morning in general.

I will not provide you a long descriptive post just a snippet. I am having one of those days when my head might explode, words turn to stuttering and my socks don’t match. Had one of those?

I have dropped, stepped on, and missed everything I’ve shot for today. I’ve written two posts and neither make a lick of sense. Getting dressed I soon realized the tag goes on the inside and zippers do break.

It is just not my day. Excuse me while I put on a rubber suit, step back for safety and slap a “Bio-hazard” label on my forehead. Please bear with me until the quarantine has been lifted.

This dysfunction usually hits in early afternoon but today it forgot our prearranged schedule. Tomorrow my friends.

The CDC is at my door.

An Award, My First!

As I woke this morning and cringed from the weather forecast, another 100+ heat index day, I was not happy. Pulling myself to the laptop already sweating from just hearing the prediction, I powered up. Check your comments. “What, No way!” I then proceeded to do a scantly clad happy dance.

I was up way too early this morning and while sitting in total silence I became aware of a hidden space. Not an ordinary space. If fact, I venture to say most would not even notice it as space. Still I found it; want to know where it is? Can I tell you what you will find?

Unless you look close, you think it to be an empty, void space and assume nothing to be there. That assumption would be wrong. This is anything but an empty or void space, I even wonder if it has enough space. I know, what is this space I keep referring to? Well, it is right here, can you not see it? Look closer.
