Define Life? Or What Reminds You.

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

“Out of sync and out of time,” is my next bumper sticker. I now realize this defines me at the present, been too long and I’m out of practice with a real life. But then what is a real life? What defines that definition of life?

After completing my first week strapped to a PC solving roof connecting to walls and does that wall look right to you, my life went on hold.  I forgot what defined me as a living person. Thankfully, I have people around me who knew I needed reminding.

Jell-o, is it Temporal?

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

No I am not dead I am working! Well I’m working at working, seems the universe wants to test my patience. I don’t know how you lovely folks working full time do it? How do you work, blog, write, and create in general without the world imploding upon you?

So many of us are wishing for that money train to come rolling along, that we have forgotten what the ride is really like. We have forgotten the ups and downs, the ends and outs and ah yes, the universe. The universe has to stick its nose in.

Hillbillies and Art Museums

Friday, June 17, 2011

I thought in honor of summer I would share a memory with you. I was writing an email to a friend and it reminded me of one of my many escapades which now is a real laughable memory. Do you have memories like that?

I have driven through Atlanta speeding but never before visited. Not this time. This time I would get time to visit the famed High Art Museum with Ms. Twister in tow.

Absence in More Ways Than One

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

I do not know who, or if anyone will get this but in case you do, I have been totally sick. On top of being under the weather it seems Blogger has decided I’m not worthy of being in your dashboard. Great just what I needed, another way to be absent.

Let me start by apologizing for the first form of absence. I contracted some major bad stomach virus over the weekend, I presume from the dirt I was working in. I spent 2 days in the fetal position and seriously felt the cold bathroom linoleum a blessing. At least now I can sit up.

Come on People, I Have Questions!

Friday, June 10, 2011

Have you got a minute? I told you I had some questions and I do. Being Friday I thought it a good time to ask, it will give you the weekend to solve these little nuisances of mine. Oh and there is music.

I’m calling all you totally awesome people out there to chime in. Let me know, do you ever think like this or have encountered these. Don’t be shy, no one reads this in Washington, D.C.

Tag, Is This a Survey?

Wednesday, June 8, 2011

Tag, your it; a game I did not really play as a child but you blogger friends are making up for my childhood deficit. I was more of a Cowboys and Indians type girl but I do love to play along.

I was tagged by the lovely N. R. Williams at the blog of the same name. The rules are simple, answer the following questions and pass it on. In fear of being jinxed I will not break this chain.

I was Blinded by the Light

Monday, June 6, 2011

I’m late I know, at least for me but I have good reason. On the way to conscious thought  I became blinded by the light. I don’t know maybe it was the system administrator getting around to things, maybe the recalculating fixed on a position, either way the light shone bright.

When one sits in the dark waiting for ole man sol to make his appearance things emerge from the shadows, things you may not expect. If one chooses one can see evil, creepy things lurking to pounce, but me? I was blinded by the light.

Hey, What Happened to my Clarity?

Friday, June 3, 2011

I have to ask, do you ever have one of those moments when everything about your life becomes crystal clear? Perhaps it is one clear item that snowballs into another and then another, suddenly you have a vision.

Well I don’t get those. I have always let my heart guide the way, it has never let me down nor abandoned me and always made me feel like I had a purpose to my being. But lately I’m not sure and now I’m starting to think I need to see a cardiologist. I’m not sure anymore where this heart of mine is heading or what message it is trying to send.

A Smell, Nasty & a Music Score

Wednesday, June 1, 2011

The music will start now, be ready! For those stopping by for East for Green Eyes Score Blogfest my entry is at the end.

Ah sunrise, no other time like it or so she thought. It is a time of day when the amber flickering of light casts shadows on the world. When the flora and fauna dance around reflecting their morning glitter.

”I’ll just stroll around the yard, collect some morning glitter on my feet,” she thought but the shadows began to snicker. It was as if they mocked her and all the while lured her, there is no evil in the morning light. She should have known not to believe the passing wind.
