Tag, your it; a game I did not really play as a child but you blogger friends are making up for my childhood deficit. I was more of a Cowboys and Indians type girl but I do love to play along.
I was tagged by the lovely N. R. Williams at the blog of the same name. The rules are simple, answer the following questions and pass it on. In fear of being jinxed I will not break this chain.
Yes, it is Tuesday, you are not confused and neither am I. Stepping out of my routine, I am joining a band wagon. No, not a protest or a sit in but a shout it from the mountains, answer my questions and hear my words, band wagon.
I know what are we screaming about and why should you listen, I hearing you asking those questions. Be patient I’m about to tell you. It all has to do with a boy and his mother’s stories.
In an intense, energetic, concentrated attack we blitz you. Actually that is the definition of blitz but that is not the point. I’m here to tell you a story. Where were you in May of 1977?
Well, I was at the drive-in not knowing my baby sister was being born. Back then there were no cell phones or pagers, if you missed it, you missed it. Now I hear you asking, “What was so important you would miss you sisters birth?”
In honor of my fellow blogger Alex J. Cavanaugh I am dedicating this post to him. I am not doing this for his lovely contest, where you may enter to win a copy of his latest book. No, I am doing this because he has been so kind as to follow and comment on my blog, he has become part of my blog family. So, we do help family members don't we?
Alex is a Sci-Fi writer on a journey of discovery. You never know what you might discover over at Alex's place; books, movies, music, he covers many things there and is always insightful. I love his guitar and his sense of humor along with the fact he thought me worthy of following. Hop on over and check him out, hopefully at the end of this post, you will be able to watch the trailer to his new book. (Sorry Alex, I was to tired to figure out how to make it fit in the column.)
To ALL my other followers, most of whom are new, I wish to also at this time extend my deepest appreciation. You have bestowed on me a large dose of confidence, made me feel as though I can still do something right. The act of following someone or leaving a comment should never be taken for granted and I want you to know I do not. For being a part of my blogging journey I owe you a huge thank you, THANK YOU. You do not go unnoticed.
Now without further ado, Alex's book trailer. Enjoy!
What can I say that you will not find in the blog posts. I live in the state of "B's,"bluegrass, bourbon and basketball. I enjoy way to many things to include in a mere list. Those favorite categories would have to change daily, for I am always in search of new things.
Should this not satisfy your curiosity, just follow along. This is an on going journey.
