There is something definitely wrong with me and I know this why? It is not because some high charging medically educated person pointed this out. It is more that I have self diagnosed myself. Did I forget to tell you I was a doctor?

To realize all that is wrong with one’s self does not always require a medical professional, sometimes it just requires silence. I have experienced a ton of silence this month and the diagnosis?

Which Eye is Your Dominate?

Monday, March 21, 2011

With one eye closed life has a directional point of view, regardless of whether that direction is left or right. Shut one eye and experience it. Ah, caught you, stop squinting. Weird isn’t it?

The entire weekend I have seen things from this vantage point, a directional view. My brain registers what seems to it only half the picture. So which eye is your dominate eye?

EXTRA... EXTRA

We interrupt this regular schedule of posting for an important message.

My stress has been relieved and finally I can divulge the causes. I’m superstitious that way; don’t talk about things in fear of the proverbial jinx. Any who, I now can tell you. Wait, let me stop doing this happy dance and sit down so I can tell this story correctly.

I Do Have an Excuse and I Saw Monsters

Sunday, November 7, 2010

Deviating from the norm, I feel as though I need to explain. For the past couple of weeks my mind has not been on writing or blogging. For this I have a four-letter word, pain.

If the noise were not bad enough each vehicle had a yellow strobe light attached to the top. Lit my bedroom up like a disco.

Help, I've Been Abducted

Saturday, October 2, 2010

Sleep came easy to her. Three straight nights of little to no sleep had left her zapped of all energy and closing her eyes felt like heaven. In the dark, a warm comfortable bed called out, her relief was at hand. Was it? Could sleep really be her salvation?

Nine hours later the sun was peeked through a window. One at a time she opened her eyes, and in seeing the mocking sun, threw a pillow at the window. “No use,” she thought, “I must get up.” With the speed of a snail she stumbled to the bathroom. “Oh my God!” was all she could say.

Vertigo; Hitchcock Has Nothing on Me

Monday, September 13, 2010

Right now her only friend was the keyboard. With it the vision in her head could dance to life. One key, two key, slowly the story took to screen, characters began to emerge as reality; her mind was a blaze with the fable. “Type,” she ordered her fingers as if they were not already listening. “Why am I sweating?”

Questionable she lifted her fingers from the keyboard. “Why am I sweating?” again she asked. Wiping the last bit of perspiration from her brow she thought, “Maybe a break.” She knew the reality was, a break would kill the moment. “Push on” a little voice said, “You will be alright.” Just then she was not alright.

The little voice had unleashed some resident evil. The sweat had turned to chills, the room spun like a top and her vision began to flicker. Her eyes now saw an array of twinkling, floating stars. “I’m going to pass out!” she screamed.
