iPhone 4 and Shower Epiphanies

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

I’ll bet one of the first things you did right after you stood in line for that iPhone4 was to take a shower. Get all squeaky clean and ready to face the day, didn’t you? Have you ever thought about what this little ritual actually can tell you about yourself? Mine was full of epiphanies and it went something like this.

As I stepped in and instantly became engulfed with the warm soothing water, I felt joy. I had music playing in the background and soon started to feel the tension ever so slowly slipping away, that Zen feeling was returning. OH, OH, that is my favorite song!

Antique Road Show: What Are These Worth?

Tuesday, June 29, 2010

I am a fan of the Antique Road Show and PBS in general. Have you watched the Road Show? Where people bring in all sorts of family relics in hopes that they too, have some valuable heirloom. Ever thought about what heirlooms you might possess?

Last night while watching the Road Show I began to think about all the so-called heirlooms I now possess. As I recalled the memories of dismantling my great-grandmother and grandmothers house I was stuck on one question, what was my family thinking?

Simple Pleasures: I Found a Few

Monday, June 28, 2010

The other day I was gently reminded by a post comment that I should return to the simple things in my life. It was suggested that I seek out and embrace the simple pleasures, which my reader knew existed. Hmm, the simple things in my life?

I had to think about this for a moment and as I relived the past week events they began to make me giggle. I realized my reader had been oh so right, thank you. So, why was I giggling? Well here are some of last week’s simple pleasurable moments I seem to have over looked.

Saturday, June 26, 2010

Yes, yes, yes, I’m over my hormonal imbalance of yesterday. I have arrived back to the normal world and I have some questions. While away on my chemical imbalance it seems I have missed some new regulations regarding the F.D.A. When did these new regulations take affect?

Since when did medication have to smell good? I do not remember this being a concern in my past. I was spoon fed weird concoctions by my mother that yes, did cause nausea. After all the moment you swallowed your gag reflex kicked in, followed by the scolding, “Don’t you dare throw that up.”

Bitch-a-tude: Now I Have One

Friday, June 25, 2010

Well, I made it out of the “Funk Attack,” only to be thrown right into a down right outrage. I was so irate last night I could not sleep and awoke to even more anger, now I have developed a “bitch-a-tude.” It is hard to be comical when you have a bitch-a-tude but I have to find humor where I can.

So here is what set off my bitch-a-tude. The republican Senate thinks I’m a lazy, drug addicted, hobo living off of unemployment. Do they know me? Where are they getting this information? Have you guys been spreading rumors?

Facebook Friends Defeat Funk Attack

Thursday, June 24, 2010

Yesterday I did not post for many reasons but mainly due to a major “Funk Attack.” I had spent the morning learning Congress thinks Greece and South Korea more worthy of my tax dollars than I. No worries; I’ll find something to get me out of this funk, “what’s happening on Facebook?”

Now I don’t know about you but I joined Facebook as a social thing, a way to stay in touch with family and friends, to be in the loop. What I have come to realize is that my so-called friends have secret desires I’m not sure I want to know about.
