Tis My Season
Friday, August 12, 2011
This lovely stuff is in full bloom here and due to all the spring rains we are having a bumper crop. I know it is pretty but not if you are allergic. It does this to my eyes.
See the map of the universe in there? It is but then on top of red, they are swollen sort of like this poor fellows.
And no wonder, this is what is floating around in my eyes. From what I can see they sure look like they feel.
While in this state of allergy eyes I miss things or see things not truly as they are, sort of like squinting and making things in the clouds. I say this because I will be reading blogs in spurts and I hope my eyes see exactly what is there. Should a comment seem totally off the wall, you have been warned, blamed it on the little spiked balls floating in my eyes.
In doing my research of photos to better inform you I came upon this one. Will someone explain what this has to do with allergy eyes?
Peace... and have a great weekend!

Oh, that dog looks so sad. Now, I have to go give my dog a hug... I hope you feel better soon.
Awww, my oldest son and my middle son both suffer from allergies. Sometimes fall is harder on them than spring is.
I sure hope you feel better soon!
You have a good weekend, too. I'm so sorry about your eyes. My husband has allergies and his medicine closet is filled to bursting with nose spray, eye drops, and other such medicines.
How annoying to have allergies. You have my sympathy. I've never had an allergy but I have poor eyes anyway. That flower is beautiful but not "gold."
What gives with that kitty? You have a wonderful weekend, too.

Sorry about your allergies! My head gets messed up when I go outside to mow the grass. And who puts shoes on a cat?
I hate having allergy eyes! I feel you pain, my friend. Fortunately, my system responds to these delightful little pink allergy pills. Sometimes I feel like they have become a fifth food group, though.
Girlie girl, I am so very sorry. Just viewing the pics and imaging what comes with these allergies makes my eyes all teary. Big warm hug
Oh gosh, I can relate, I have allergy eyes as well. Sorry you are dealing with this, it's a nightmare for sure.
Even though I don't know what it has to do with allergy eyes, I love the pic of the cat anyway LOL. Especially since it seems he is wearing some kind of crazy booties. I wouldn't want to be the person that put those booties on. I've never known a cat who would stand for something like that LOL.
Hope you have a good weekend ahead in spite of the allergies!
Love that photo of the cat, ha! Yeah, my eyes look quite similar right now. All red and ick! Hope you feel better soon.
Wishing you an allergy free day.
You have my sympathy. I have tons of allergies and despite my allergy meds, I still have bad days when I'm miserable. I love Fall, but it's terrible for my allergies.
Feel better soon!
Oh my! That poor little doggy. Poor Jules, too.
I have no clue what that would have to do with allergy eyes. Perhaps its helping him clean up his own kitty fur?
Oh, I feel for you! I have friends who are allergic to pollens, etc. They are miserable during certain seasons.
I love the floor cleaning cat! Yeah! Put the furball to work!
Ack! Allergies!!!
And I love the cleaning cat. You give that cat my phone number -- I can put her to work immediately. YOu know, if she's looking for a little extra cash...

Sorry about your allergies Jules, my eyes have been more irritating than usual this year. Poor dog and I did love the cat picture,
Hope the unpleasantness soon clears.
Yvonne.
Poor you!
I'm actually sneezing as I'm reading this. Something's in the air!
I hope it passes and you feel better soon.
I enjoy your comments, off the wall or otherwise!
I'm sorry to hear about your allergies. I hope you feel better soon!
Looks like kitty is none too happy about being the floor sweeper.
I share your pain -- for real:(
So sorry, Jules! Hang in there and feel better, okay? Maybe I'll rent a dump truck and come see you! :)
I believe the cat should've come up from a search for 'the evil eye.'
I'm so sorry you are suffering!
Me too! Itchy eyes, sore throat and drainage. Yuck.
My thoughts on cat: Her name is Allergy? She is wading through pollen? She is a silent sufferer?
That's the best I can do.

Mine get worse as I age... and it's getting so now I think of you when they flare up because I know how bad it can get! Poor kitty--whatever is going on with its feet, I hope it checked to make sure its claws were still working when it got those pom poms off.
Oh Jules, I am sad for you; I do know how you feel. Usually early spring is my worst, but today I woke up with itchy eyes and plugged up ears. It amazes me how simply things can cause so much trouble. Funny cat photo...some smart ass trying to use the cat as a maid! Are they dusting up dog hair?! ;D
Is the cat 'dusting' the floor as he/she is walking around. I can not for the life of me come up with anything better. LOL
So sorry about your allergies! I swear I didn't have them when I was younger. I actually blame them on moving to Iowa 6 years ago.. but that's probably not fair unless it's a subconscious payback! Haha..
Seriously, I'm there too and totally feel for you, Jules! Take care and try to enjoy your weekend!!
BIG HUG,
Coreen XO
Oh, that poor dog. And poor you too! Hope the maps of the universe disappear soon
I wish I could say I had no clue what that's like, but unfortunately, I know all too well. Zyrtec is good stuff for me.
