Just So You Know…

Friday, April 6, 2012

Another installment of small snippets that cross my mind, have touched my heart, or you just need to know. Are you ready?

Just so you know… for the next year Kentucky rules. Yes we are the champions. Also should you need to part with a sofa… several students over at the college are in need of one. Apparently they burned theirs in the celebration.

Just so you know… once a week here is about all I can muster. I do hope you understand.

Just so you know… Granny is now under hospice care and this took awhile to be able write.

Just so you know… I’m now a great aunt.

Just so you know… I’m searching for legal pharmaceuticals that do not have the side effects of a heart attack, excessive bleeding, memory loss or the ability to cause anything to go erect, nor do I want to be aroused. I would however love to see the dancing elephants again.

Just so you know… squirrels can read. I hung a sign on the bird feeder that read, “Eat this.” Right under that I put a trash can with the sign, “Die here.” They paint balled my house.

Just so you know… emotionally and mentally I struggle and thanks to my A.D.D. the two are never the same.

Just so you know… I so love you guys. No other way to say it and “Thank you” is just shallow words.

Just so you know… my Red heart has been forever imprinted with your comments.

RainbowPEACE…

I'm sure that was a difficult decision with your grandmother.
So, what color is your house now?

Ahhh, your squirrels must be pretty smart there in Kentucky...our aren't that brilliant; yet!
Thinking of you, but then again you already know that! Glad to see you posting...and that sense of humor is on the verge in that post!

Granny and your family have been in my thoughts. All the best to you all over in Kentucky...except the squirrels. They sound mean!

Jules, I've missed you! And not because you haven't been around. Because I haven't been around.

I forgot what a pithy and clever writer you are. Also, I don't blame you for putting up a blog only once a week. It can be hard to keep up a blog consistently and you do a good job.

You just do as little or as much as you feel you can, Jules. It’s always wonderful to see you back here, and you’re always worth waiting for. So, you just hang in there, and know friends are only just a click away.

Oh, and congratulations on becoming a great aunt!

I'm sorry to hear about your granny. But, I've no doubt she is receiving the best care possible and you did the right thing for her. And, congrats on becoming a great aunt, that's wonderful!

I'll never understand how burning couches became the go to activity for celebrating wins, but it seems to be almost a given now. Kudos to the Wildcats!

So sorry about your Granny. My father-in-law is 88, and with 5 different types of cancer we've been given all the brochures on hospice care. We're not ready to take that step yet, but it will be heartbreaking when we do, so I can sympathize with your decision. God bless.

You know how I feel about Granny :0(

How about a picture of the house. Bet it's a hit with the "students" who burned their sofas.

Sorry to hear about Gran. I'm so sorry I have been absent from here. My life is up the air right now with moving, working and participating in the A to Z along with several other problems that seem to require constant attention. Huge hugs, my friend. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, your squirrels are much smarter than ours. The squirrels around here can't read, as far as I know, but they ARE armed and dangerous. Did you know that if you set nuts on your front porch for them just a few times ... heck, maybe it only takes ONCE... they get downright militant and start banging on your front door, demanding more??? Pushy little boogers.

So sorry about your grandmother. I know how rough that must be.

I should leave a sign for my squirrels that says "Beware of Cat." But then I would have to feed the cat.

Happy A to Z,

So, you need to put out an old couch with a sign: "Squirrels may sit here". Then alert the college that there's a couch available to burn. P.S. Squirrels make good eatin'. Warm wishes and thoughts - and let me know if u find that miracle drug!

Leaving a virtual hug for you and your grandmother.

Could your squirrels come and paint my house, too? It's in need of paint.

Just wanted you to know I still think about you, but I've had a lot on my mind of late so my thoughts get expressed a week behind.
I starting to feel that once a week thing myself. If I get a job, once a week may be all I can do.
