Just So You Know

Friday, December 30, 2011

It would seem another year is about to become history and many of you take this time to reflect, I do not reflect that well. As promised though, I will end this year with a “Just so you know” post.

Just so you know… I am ending 2011 with an awful head cold. The kind that burns your nose and makes you appear to be crying. Ah-chew!

Just so you know… I’m now using all the free toiletries Ms. Twister has been saving for me. Should you suddenly smell a Hilton odor… I just walked by, wave.

Just so you know… I don’t do resolutions. I am resolving to be un-resolved.

Just so you know… I turned my Wii on to get in shape, it laughed and said, “Wii is not responsible for misuse.”

Just so you know… I started the year alone and have collected a gaggle of dust-bunny aliens and a ghost. I really need to work on my outward projection.

Just so you know… I heard the Animal Planets, Finding Bigfoot cast actually found him. He was looking for service to his iPhone when they caught him.

Just so you know… I was told by Ms. Twister there is no more room for toilet paper in the closet. My response… we’ll keep in the garage, no way am I going through the year of the apocalypse with no toilet paper and we need more vodka.

Just so you know… all kidding aside you guys are the greatest. Some of you I have actually met and some I just feel like I’ve met, what super folks you are. We have cried, laughed, encouraged and just stood by each other all year, what a year.

Raise your glass on New Year’s and toast yourself for me. Know there is someone out here that truly loves the fact you are here. That shares with you both your defeats and accomplishments and has enjoyed every minute of it.

Happy New Year my friends!
RainbowPeace and see you next year.

Oh, how I dearly love your "just so you know" features! Hope you feel better, and Happy New Year, my friend. This might be the year of the apocalypse coming up, but we'll surely laugh our way out and it will still be worth it.

I am feeling very unresolved myself and plan on staying that way. The forsaken(a good 'F' word don't you think!)resolutions only depress me!!!

I would be inclined to stock up on the vodka...enough vodka and you won't care too much about the TP!

Hope you feel better in time to celebrate the ringing in the year to end all years!!! :)

Good plan with the toilet paper (sand paper is a poor replacement - been there, tried that =/)

Something must be going around--lots of family here in Tennessee have been bedridden and worn down with sickness--hope they're not just saying that to avoid me.

Sounds like someone in your house has the same toilet paper fixation that we have at our house. I've been teasing my wife about putting an "open for business" sign on our front door to start selling TP to the neighbors.

Have a great 2012.

Anonymoussaid,

Maybe you have a rogue wormhole spewing out those dust bunnies, the byproducts of another world trying to dump their garbage off on us unsuspecting earthlings. Happy New Year to you, Jules!

Oh Jules, darling, your outward projection is just lovely, and funny as ever!

Wishing you a very happy New Year--perhaps not entirely devoid of dust bunnies and ghosts. After all, they make it more interesting, don't you think? :)

Poor you with a head cold. I hope it's gone by now.

I resolve to be unresolved as well! Who needs goals when it's setting myself up for failure? More modest ones are okay. Get out of bed...

Toilet paper and vodka? I like your priorities. Mine would be candles, matches, and red wine. I hate the dark.

Happy New Year!
