Frantic Friday

Yes that is me on the beach!
“I wonder if Al Roker can float.” That is what I thought as I turned on the weather channel this morning. I have an extremely busy day scheduled, so knowing the weather was a must and to my surprise?

Al Roker is standing on a beach in Duck, NC. He must either make a ton of money or lost part of his brain with all that weight. I have been to Duck; in fact I have a ton of memories of Duck.

I taught a Brit how to shoot Tequila in Duck, I tried to learn to boogie board in Duck and well, I have memories. In case you missed it I posted about one such memory, pop over and find it here.

We all have a ton of blogging friends in arms way this weekend; throw up a prayer for them. Please my friends be safe, prepare and get out.

I for one will be waiting to see if Al Roker can float because Duck floods with normal rain, let alone a CAT3 hurricane. In the meantime I’m leaving you with two musical selections for the weekend, I think them appropriate.

I’ll be by later. Have a great, safe weekend.

Oh, I bet he floats!
Why is he out there? Crap, everyone's trying to prepare and evacuate - get out of the way, Al.

I'm in Virginia, and I hope it doesn't hit us at a three. That would be dreadful. So glad I don't live in South Carolina.

It's so dumb to me when the weather people stand out in the middle of all the mess, while everyone else is trying to evacuate.

Wonderful photo of you and your furry little friend on the beach, love it!

Hope you have a peaceful and relaxing weekend ahead. :)

I may not love being a sub, but I'd rather do that than be a weather reporter. The worse the weather, the more likely they'd send me out in it!

There will be a lot of weather people floating this weekend~ Great choices on the music picks! I, too have been to Duck. Bought my brother a sassy hat...that's all I'm saying! Hurricane Irene finally started to dump rain on us around 10ish...winds are picking up. I need to go to bed, but that is what happens, when I drink caffeine mid day...wide awake!
Nice post...! I like your beach photo; I so want to go, just not now~
