A Day of Silence

Thursday, March 17, 2011

I’m posting this tonight because Friday I will be observing a day of silence on my blog. In memory and support of all that Japan has and will be enduring there will be no post.

I urge all of you to keep Japan in your thoughts and prayers, If you can do something do. Wherever you are; hold those close to you a bit tighter, forget that car that just cut you off, and remember it is the little things that matter most.

If you wish to find out more about the “For Japan With Love,” please visit Nicolasa @ (My) Perspective. You may also click here to go directly to the website.

I am doing the best I can to get around today but I have not had much luck. I have been suffering all week with allergies and in short feel like I have a third eye in the middle of my brow. Yes, spring has sprung and pumped my eyes up.

After my silence I will try this weekend to catch up with everyone.

Have a great weekend and Peace…

A wonderful thing to do. This week has been so sad. What happened was so beyond the imagination, the senses are numb. My heart goes out to the good people of Japan.

...very honorable of you, Jules. Loved ones have been lost, lives shaken, a world in ruin. So sad.

...wanted you to know, you've earned a mention on my latest post.

Jules- I have taken to hugging my children more often this week, and telling them constantly to be safe and I love them. Its a nightmare that has happened to Japan, and my thoughts are with them.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well.
Have a good weekend and don't press yourself too hard. :)

Anonymoussaid,

It has been an awful week, and the news gets worse.

All of Japan is in my thoughts.

Anonymoussaid,

thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend and I hope the allergies let up for you....allergies are a beast to live with, I know from experience :-)

I highly recommend Zyrtec (or the generic)! But, I know that sometimes even meds don't help.

What a thoughtful post- I will check out the link and post it to my blog too. I was going to try to post an update to it but I just don't know what to write because I can't stop thinking of what has happened in Japan.

Thanks for this post, and for remembering and showing you care.

I've been thinking about Japan a lot ever since it happened. What happened from the earthquake is horrific enough, then the tsunami, and now the nuclear issues. I hope it ends soon.

I'm glad to see the donations pouring in.

So much going on in the world... thoughts and prayers for people around the globe. I hope your allergy situation has improved. BTW, I used to have severe sinus issues, and someone recommended Bee Pollen tablets. Totally did the trick, but you have to be SURE that you're not allergic to bee stings. I hope you are having a peaceful weekend, and thank you, too, for visiting on my SITS day earlier this week.
