I Got A Bear to Pick With You

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Yes, it is Tuesday, you are not confused and neither am I. Stepping out of my routine, I am joining a band wagon. No, not a protest or a sit in but a shout it from the mountains, answer my questions and hear my words, band wagon.

I know what are we screaming about and why should you listen, I hearing you asking those questions. Be patient I’m about to tell you. It all has to do with a boy and his mother’s stories.

My blog buddy Roland has e-published a book The Bear with Two Shadows, this is what we all are screaming about. Roland and his book of mythical creatures in the land beyond our mirrors. Why does the bear have two shadows? Why a gray bear? I don’t know about you but I love lore and legends.

So today we are spreading the word about Roland @ Writing in the Crosshairs and how you can go here to buy a copy. Roland has also allowed you to download the first 3 chapters as a tease. So help a guy out, check out his book and if so inclined buy a copy. On that note…

I’d like to remind you there are a lot of e-published authors out there, we are the point to the pyramid. If each of us adds just one new potential reader and then in turn they add one and so on the pyramid grows. Let us start building a pyramid.

Peace…

Jules, I have no words. My cat, Gypsy, just dropped her jaw at that. It's not often I am robbed of words.

I have been fighting a relapse of that terrible virus that ate three of my weeks and my lungs.

Since being ice-bound in that Detroit basement apartment with double pneumonia (where my mother to take her mind off her anxiety for me and my mind off the worsening cough -- created the tales of Hibbs, the bear with 2 shadows) -- my lungs have been vulnerable and colds my kyrptonite.

Your generosity of spirit makes me humble -- and very glad that you are my friend, Roland
