My Purge and You Need to Know…

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Do you ever have one of those mornings where you know what you want to say but the words elude the page? One where, no matter how hard you try or how fast you type you just can’t seem to catch them?

After several hours now I’ve decided to give up trying to catch them. To you my lovely followers I need to say a few things and for myself I need to purge a few things. Rather than type out formed paragraphs please accept my bullet points for the day.

Purging Myself:
  • Today is the day that will live in infamy (hopefully). The birth of the greatest generation. One I am very proud to have known, been raised by, educated by and have had their values instilled upon.
  • Wiki-leaks. Why on earth is this not espionage? I’m sure Julius Rosenberg would be asking the same question, maybe because he did not have a “PayPal” account.
  • England has a problem with their mistletoe supply, is this not something we can export to them? We have a ton here in Kentucky and I would be happy to go shoot some down.
  • Homeland Security and Wal-Mart partners? Have you seen the people of Wal-Mart and do they make you feel safe?
My Lovely Followers:
  • There is a changing of the guard that will soon take place in my world, thus limited time in blog world. Ms. Twister has been promoted to a new job that will require extensive travel. December will be the transition month. I have a lot to get in order before she hits the road.
  • For that reason my posts maybe a tad bit sporadic this month. I do plan on reading and commenting though, which brings me to…
  • I am not ignoring or passing you by and for what ever reason my Google reader is not updating properly. I have noticed this for some time and occasionally have to manually load your blogs to get an update. Please excuse me if I am late or miss a post it is not intentional. And should you not see me for a while drop me a comment.
  • My little metaphoric stories are still coming; I just have been so busy lately. I keep a list of ideas, objects, etc… hopefully I will get to start checking them off soon.
Any who, I just wanted to let you know why my posts seem a little out of the ordinary for me. In case you haven’t already done so I will be supplying you with my Christmas wish list this week so you might want to hold off buying my present until you check out the list, just saying…

For you I wish a prosperous, productive Tuesday.

Peace…

PS I took this picture of last months full moon complete with moon bow.

If Walmart is heading up homeland security at the airports, does that mean we get a discount? In Colorado, Walmart is a foreign country and the native tongue is Spanish. I don't understand it which makes me an invader from beyond the block.

I do hope your new busy life is rewarding. I have an award for you on my blog.

WalMart and Homeland Security....that's a scary set of bedfellows!

That moon shot is great, btw. (that doesn't sound right, does it?)

I've had near panic attacks because when I go to my dashboard, sometimes it will tell me I'm not following any blogs!!!!

On top of that, half the time I have to reload the comment or it gets eaten or posted ten times. What's going on?

Bless Ms. Twister-I hate to travel...

My Tuesday needs to get producing, so I'll see you soon!

Yes, let's export mistletoe to the U.K. Sending them some holiday cheer in this season of giving is the right thing to do.

Safe traveling!
Reader drives me nuts! Sometimes it leaves my favorite blogs in Neverland and when I realize it I have catching up to do!

Tis the season for scattered thoughts and muddle minds! I haven't started my Dr prescribed cocktail, yet. I have pkgs and baking to send off to Maine. uuugh!

Love the moon pic, gorgeous! I am sure everyone knows some bourbon and some mistletoe, will fix England. Who can't use some holiday cheer?!

Hang in there...you aren't alone!

We should definitely export the mistletoe if the UK needs it! Send them some holiday cheer, and goodwill. :)

The DHS and Wal-Mart? Oh dear . . . I hadn't heard about that.

I hope your traveling goes well!

Sometimes my Dashboard tells me I'm following no blogs at all; then I panic, because it would take me ages to find them all again!

Oh my, traveling and shooting mistletoe, what a combo! As far as shooting down the mistletoe I've got you beat on that! Used the lead shot and got a huge bundle tied up over the doorway with a big red ribbon.

Best wishes to you and yours.

Hey Jules, sorry to hear about your google reader, how frustrating.
Congrats on the job, but keep safe travelling.
I'm looking fwd to seeing your Christmas list, ha ha.
I differ re wikileaks. I consider Julian Assange a hero - he is only giving us in black and white what a bunch of crooks are running the world. Doesn't hurt to know for sure.
Cheers

Re: Walmart/DHS. How lovely that our federal government has made Big Brother a reality for us, isn't it? Security my patootie, Patriot and its successor should never have been passed.

Thank you so much for dropping by to check up on me. I've been a combination of busy with a cat rescue charity I volunteer with and trying to think of a good idea for a job.
