Tag You're IT!

Monday, October 11, 2010

Down for more than a week she longed for her mojo to return. The bed she so loved now felt like an unwelcome stranger, stiff and uninviting. Tired of being in the company of the unwelcome stranger she summoned energy from deep within, “come on get out of bed, don’t you want to find your mojo?”

First sitting, then standing; she rose to leave the company of the stiff, uninviting one. “I’ll get a cup of spice tea and check the web,” she thought. With a head totally clogged, she wondered why someone had not just put the Vicks suave in the Kleenex, that would be so much easier.

As she sipped her cup of tea and switched on the computer the thought occurred to her being vertical would not be long. “Let’s see what all my blogging buddies are up to and then I’ll go back to bed.”  Thank heavens her buddies must have known, their posts were oh so short but the last one made her gasp for air. “I have been tagged.”

Yes, Ms Yvonne at Welcome to my World of Poetry tagged me. Feeling somewhat better I tried last night to full fill this tag.

Here are the rules for this tag:

  1. Write name and blog.
  2. Right handed/left handed
  3. 6 favorite letters.
  4. write The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
  5. Write the following words in capital letters: BABBON, SPLENDOR, ONOMATOPOEIA, FLIP-FLOPS, HUZZAH
  6. Write your favorite song lyrics.

This was my weak attempt to meet my challenge, as you can see I could not even write what I suppose to copy.. This is very sloppy hand writing for me, not 100%, I just could not keep my lettering proportional and straight.

I pass this on to:
Kathie @ Just a Happy Housewife
The Words Crafter @ The Rainy Day Wanderer
Gail @ At The Farm

Thank you all for the well-wishes. I am better but not yet 100%.

Healthy, Healing Monday to all..

I see that you are a printer like I normally am. I did the cursive for the challenge, but in reality I rarely write in cursive anymore. You couldn't even decipher what my signature says. Hope you're up and about and turning cartwheels by now.

You're so dedicated, Jules. I think you should just focus on getting better. Drink lots of liquids, relax, stay away from the electronics (I don't know about you, but they tend to drain, rather than revive me), maybe read a good book.
