To My Cyber Family......

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

This morning as I read around my blog world a sudden pang hit my heart. Reading posts I had some how missed, in part thanks to Google, the feeling of an extended cyber family started to take hold. Do you have times when you read another's post and think, “that is exactly what I feel, think or do?”

Well, today it was one post after another that touched my heart or made me think. Oh, I left comments and tired to share the emotion that the post had invoked but felt those comments to be shallow. I felt the need to expand, to reach out to those whom had shared and touched. So what had I read?

I read of your concerns regarding your country and it’s current sad state of affairs. Your fear of what is to come and your pondering of how can we solve these situations for future generations. Though you had no solutions, I wanted to say you encouraged me. It is always up lifting to know you are not the only kid in class with that question. It makes you feel connected.

I read of family stories. One story which provided the ending where a beautiful present day instance, allowed a bad memory to be set right. Those are the situations we all hope for but rarely find ourselves in. And it was inspiring on so many levels; that these situations do occur, that one can have the insight to notice and then the courage to share.

I read of a soul-searching mission and learned that I am not the only one whom seek answers. That someone other than I seek answers to unknown questions. That we realize it is not a pass fail test but rather a pop quiz for what is to come. I totally identified with this post, kudos for sharing.

I found outings and poems. Yvonne I feel your pain. Google has toyed with me ever since I started blogging and I spend way too much time making sure they are doing their job. Your post gave me a laugh.

Oh, my cyber family how a like we really are. I wish I could note you all and just a mere thank you for sharing seems so blasé. Besides the comments and this post I have nothing more to offer except to add you all to my “Check these out” widget. I hope you understand.

In a closing thank you I would like to note. If you are new here or have landed here by accident please check that widget out. We are not alone; no ocean separates us, no barriers do we have, words are our weapon and blogger’s are we all.

Jules, this is a beautiful post, thank you. I feel the same way about my new cyber family and have even become email friends with one or two. What a blessing.

That's a beautiful picture, is it sunrise or sunset? Thanks for stopping by my blog this a.m. and sharing your feelings. And for expanding on them here. I thought I had followed you the other day, guess not. I am now. :)

I agree with you Jules....sometimes I read fellow bloggers posts and I can completely connect to their words.

Only to find that they are on he opposite side of the world from me experiencing the same thoughts.

It DOES make our world just that much smaller, doesn't it?

Thanks for YOUR post!
